Love Big Hair Wigs Website Design

Elisa from Love Big Hair Wigs contacted me about building her an online store presence. Stuart over at Get Safe® referred her to me after I had helped him with a variety of projects.

She has been in business as a wig designer for many years. In 2022, her business had slowed considerably and walk-in visits had a hold put on them due to pandemic mandates. She needed an online presence to aid in bringing in new business outside of her normal clientele.

She gave me a sample of the style she was gravitating to and stated she had already taken images of her products.

I built this project on Wix. I am finding their storefront and tools much more robust than the other site building platforms (Shopify, Squarespace, and WordPress).

She gave me a base script for her origin story. I used it as the foundation to write the dialog seen on the page and pulled elements from it to embellish the other paged on the site. I pulled from a selection of stock photography for environmental examples, she provided the actual product photos.

For the store, I setup a template for her to use. This way she could duplicate the base inventory item and change what she needed.
