This is the 4th installment of the Cool King® holiday series advertisements I created.

Their previous concept was “Polar Bear Ice Cream” with a realistic Polar Bear photo.

I riffed off that to create something more with elements pulled from Sanrio characters (i.e. Hello Kitty) and Asian influenced animation.

The song sampled is Polar Bear by Justin Roberts. I liked the mellow vibe the instrumental portion of this song conveyed. A good representation of what I think the stark, vast “nothingness” the North Pole must be like.

For the post dialog, I wrote a story in “second-person point of view”. I always liked the “Choose Your Own Adventure” books when I was younger. I thought it would be fun to create something in that vein.
