I made this motion graphic to show gratitude to those who have supported Cool King®.

I was inspired by the design elements the art direction for greeting cards in the United States during the 1940s.

I initially modified a scan of a card from the era in an iOS mobile app named “Retouch”.

From there I added the illustration of the dessert cup using the mobile app “ArtStudio”.

Once the composition was complete I used the iOS app “Prisma” as a filter to give the image a consistent “hand illustrated” feel.

I used this as the base frame in the iOS app “CapCut” to add the animated text, foley, and soundtrack.

I’ve found, exporting at 60 fps provides a nice viewing experience that makes the advertisement standout in a users feed.
