Cool King® Circus Animal Cookies Ice Cream

Yes, the cookie circus is in town, and it is sweet!

Cool King® Frozen Yogurt & Desserts is always coming up with amazing flavor combinations.

This time, the King of the Jungle and his pacadermic friends are hopping in the cup to infuse the scrumptious crispy crumble of Mother’s Original Circus Animal Cookies with the ultra smooth, creamy flavor of Vanilla Ice Cream.

For this project, I started with composing the graphics for the flavor card based on the color scheme and texture of the Mother’s Cookies logo.

With the motion graphic (social media ad), I felt the need to start with the music, and the classic Entry of the Gladiators (Thunder and Blazes) by Julius Fučík fit the bill perfectly. I added sound effects of a cannon explosion, a lion’s roar, and an elephant’s trumpet to evoke the feeling of entering the big top and anticipating the greatest show on earth.

I wrapped these sounds in graphic elements from the flavor card along with photos taken at the shop to entice and delight anyone with a tooth for tasty treats.

For the post-dialogue, my goal was to channel the voice of P.T. Barnum when calling out to the masses with his intent to widen the spectator’s eyes, coerce a chuckle, possibly prompt a gasp, and definitely imprint a memory of a good time had by all.

Be forewarned: Just like the circus in real life, this show (flavor) rushes into town like a furious whirlwind and is gone with the bat of an eye. If having a taste tickles your fancy, you’ll have to catch it before the train leaves town.
